Previously we explained step by step procedure to root Yuphoria and unlock the bootloader.Now for those who don’t want to mess with bootloader or recovery, we have a new method to root Yuphoria without unlocking the bootloader.This is the safest method as it will not void your warranty.All credit goes to XDA junior member, Someshthakur.

- These instructions are only for Yu Yuphoria model. Do not attempt it on any other device as it could permanently damage or brick the device.
- Backup important data and settings on the phone before you proceed,
- Enable USB Debugging mode on the device by going to Settings > About Phone (tap build number 7 times to unlock developer options) > Developer Options.
Follow these steps to root Yuphoria
Step 1: Connect your phone to the computer and wait for the pop-up message that prompts you to confirm if you want to allow USB Debugging. Click OK to confirm.
Step 2: Download the root toolkit from the link above and extract the files to the computer via 7-zip or similar extraction software.
Step 3: The extracted folder should contain two subfolders: META-INF folder and Root without UBL. Ignore the first subfolder and open the second that says Root.
Step 4: Now run the root.bat file by double-clicking on it.
Step 5: Follow the onscreen instructions on the computer and within a few minutes your phone will get root access with unlocked bootloader like in stock firmware. Hence, it will also preserve your device’s warranty status.
